Ride for Vocations 4

First it was an 800 mile ride to every parish of the diocese in 2015. Then in 2016, it was Lands End to John o’Groats. Last year it was London to Paris in under 24 hours.

Now, Fr Matt, Vocations Director for Clifton Diocese, has decided to go for one last ‘Ride for Vocations’. This is every keen road cyclist’s dream (or nightmare). Fr Matt will take on 10 iconic climbs of the Tour de France in both the Alps and Pyrenees. A true sufferfest!

This will take place between 26th June to 9th July 2018

Total distance to climb: 143 miles
Total altitude gain: 50,500 feet
Average gradient: 7%
Maximum elevation: 9,002 feet (Col d’Agnel)
He is asking for our prayers and also donations.

All donations will go towards the training of future priests of Clifton Diocese.

Please see the poster or cards by the Park Lane entrance for more information or to follow all the action, go to www.cliftondiocese.com/vocations
